If you’re facing hardship and need help caring for your dog, you’re in the right place.

Second Leash Foundation provides short-term, emergency support to help families keep their dogs during crisis. We do not judge circumstances — we simply want to help keep your dog safe, fed, and at home with the people who love them.

We support individuals and families experiencing:

• Job loss or reduced income

• Eviction, housing instability, or forced relocation

• Medical emergencies or hospitalization

• Domestic violence

• Loss of food assistance (SNAP, TANF, etc.)

• Natural disasters

• Temporary hardship affecting pet care
