How fast is the review?
Most cases reviewed in 24–72 hours; urgent vet cases prioritized.
How much assistance can I receive?
Typical awards: up to $250 per household per 12 months; exceptions as funds allow.
Do you pay people directly?
No. We pay providers directly (clinics, boarding partners, suppliers).
What’s eligible?
Urgent vet care, short-term pet food, adoption-related costs that prevent surrender, and targeted senior pet needs. Boarding is DFW-only.
Adoption Assistance — what qualifies?
Adoption fees, initial wellness exam, core vaccines, microchip, or essentials that secure a stable placement. Nationwide.
Senior Pet Assistance — what qualifies?
Meds, diagnostics, mobility aids, specialty food to keep seniors safely at home. Nationwide.
Short-term boarding — how long?
Usually 3–14 days; extensions case-by-case based on capacity/funding. DFW only.
