What to Upload (if you have it)

  • Estimate/Invoice from the clinic (photo or PDF)

  • Proof of hardship (one item: unemployment/benefits letter, medical bill, eviction/notice, disaster report)

  • Proof you own the dog (vet record, microchip, adoption file, or clear photos)
No perfect paperwork? Apply anyway. Screenshots are OK.

Timing & Payments

  • Most reviews: 24–72 hrs; urgent cases can be faster.

  • Out-of-area clinics: allow ~1 extra business day for verification.

  • Payment methods: card on file/clinic portal/phone authorization. We do not reimburse to individuals.

What We Look For

  • Urgency & impact (prevents suffering/surrender)

  • Good prognosis with the proposed care

  • Keep-together plan (dog stays/returns home)

  • Vendor-ready (clinic can take third-party payment)

  • Prioritizing first-time applicants and urgent medical needs

Cost Examples (typical)

  • $125 exam + meds for minor injury → we may cover $125–$200

  • $300 urgent visit + labs → we may cover $250 and help you combine with clinic plans/other aid

  • Higher-cost procedures → case-by-case; we can be part of a combined plan (owner + clinic discount + other funds)
