Due to limited funding, Second Leash Foundation is not currently accepting new assistance applications.

You may join our waitlist to be considered when funding becomes available.

What the Waitlist Means

Joining the waitlist allows us to understand current needs and contact eligible applicants when funding is replenished.

The waitlist is not:

• An approval

• A promise of assistance

• A guarantee of future funding

Placement on the waitlist does not secure assistance.

How the Waitlist Works

• Waitlist submissions are reviewed when funding becomes available

• If your request aligns with our programs, you may be contacted to complete a full application

• Not all waitlisted individuals will be contacted

Second Leash Foundation does not operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who Should Join the Waitlist

You may join the waitlist if:

• You are experiencing financial hardship related to pet care

• You are seeking food, vet care, adoption support, or senior guardian assistance

• You understand funding is limited and not guaranteed

Transparency & Expectations

We believe in honesty and responsible stewardship of donor funds.

To ensure we can reliably help families when possible:

• Applications are opened only when funding exists

• Waitlists are used during funding gaps

• Assistance is provided only within our capacity
